Made in west Germany, slightly different design to the normal strap handle that all the usual suspect used
The usual wear it is however fully functional
I have seen these used on WEM copicats, Park heads and also on some CMI(Marshall) stuff

Electrically it all works as it should pots are a bit scratchy as it has not really been used in a while .

Watkins Rapier 44 electric guitar made in England in roughly 1964. The guitar shows signs of its age but has no major damage. It has been worked on and set up by a professional luthier. It has had a full fret level and dress, the bridge posts repaired, a fully bespoke bone nut installed and the neck has been shimmed with a solid maple shim as shown in the pictures. these will fit a 1 / 4" shaft and afix with grub screws
these are just over an inch wide and are nice and heavy not cheap like the later knobs in this style
Perfect if you have a vintage seventies amplifier / FX unit and want some period correct knobs
Buy them before I decide to buy an amp to put them on!!

Serial number 7068 I think is 1966 . One replacement knob other than that all original
Luther serviced fret dressed all electrics also serviced

This came out of a WEM dominator that was broken for spares, perfect if you have an early seventies WEM dominator and want a WEM spec driver

This has been through the mill cosmetically, since onreceipt, it was hand painted and the neck varnish was cracked everywhere. Thefollowing has been done:
1. The neck
a. This was totally scrapped clean and sanded to afine finish.
b. The frets were then polished and a couple ofcoats of lemon oil, to feed the wood was applied. There is wear on the frets, although there appears not to distract from the playability of the guitar. Iguess in an ideal world, one would have a ... more

For sale is a super rare iteration of Watkins' iconic Westminster valve amp, dating from 1959-60 (made in England). Rarer still, it is pretty much original condition
Having done my research this iteration is unique for its control panel featuring 2 separate volume and tone controls for each of the 2 inputs, as well as 6AQ5 output valves. Charlie Watkins is quoted as stating that only 10 of these were made, and they were much-favoured by jazz players of the time.

So here's an oddity. This is a WEM Songbird dedicated Accordion Combo Amp.
It's a full range map with 4 input channels and  a built in spring reverb unit
It's working and comes great (see video) but it needs some contact lube as the pots are crackly and dusty
This is a very heavy amp so you'll need to arrange collection or come and pick it up yourself
