Here we have a fairly rare 1962 Supro model 1696T Combo all tube hand wired 1-15" amplifier. The amp is just in from storage and has been gone through by my amp technician of 38 years. As always he cleaned all the pots and input jacks and the amp sounds great. While he was at it he installed a new handle I had that fit perfect. Included is the broken replaced and pictured handle. This is an original 1963 Supro Airline Bass Guitar survivor. It has the original pickup and the Piezo Bridge pickup, The electronics all work but need cleaned and serviced. I only took it apart to clean it and verify age and originality The neck is warped pretty good but a competent Luthier can straighten it. An amazing Coodercaster I built a couple of years ago. It is fitted with genuine vintage 60s Teisco gold foil and a 1950s Supro lap steel pickups that have their original windings intact and have that magical slightly microphonic (but in a good way) vintage sound that is so hard to recreate.
