Work done includes a neck reset, frets leveled and dressed, tuners cleaned polished and lubricated, new tuner post ferrules, original bridge raised to set action at a high but comfortable hight (this can easily be lowered according to player preference by sanding the bottom of the bridge. I don't remember if any braces had been loose, but they are all solid now

Thanks for looking! Up for sale is a fun guitar. It's an early 1960s Stella 12-string guitar. These were made in Chicago by the Harmony company. The body is made of birch, and the neck is poplar. It would be great for folk, country and blues. It predates the model that Kurt Cobain played (the H912, with 7 strings missing) by a few years

Fun little guitar. Quirky vintage tone. Pretty clean cosmetically with a few dings and some wear around the edges. Neck is relatively straight with some relief. Action creeps up towards the 12th fret. The upper registers are still playable (see video) but let's be honest- this thing is not gonna play like a $5k Collings. New Earthwood strings. The pickguard is missing. The guitar is currently strung for a left-handed player, but will need to be restrung regardless. The guitar does tune well, but tuners need to be lubed. This is a 1950s Stella Parlour guitar In faux blonde finish. Made in Chicago USA.
What distinguishes it as an early model is the lack of pickguard and the headstock logo says simply Stella. The later ones say Stella by Harmony and steel reinforced neck.
The faux blonde models are relatively rare compared to the more common sunburst ones

This is a solid steel neck reinforcement bar from an early 60s era Harmony Stella 12 string neck. It measures 3 / 16" wide, 1 / 2" deep, 12-3 / 8" long. There is a bend in it that can be seen in the photos, this isn't damage, it was installed this way originally, forced into a straight slot in the neck. I don't know if this was done intentionally or not.
