Vintage guitars for sale: Silvertone

My dad purchased this guitar and case from Sears, Roebuck on January 10, 1954. Please see the sales and delivery receipt and care instructions. He never threw anything away and he kept everything in great condition. He paid $15 25 for the guitar and 6 89 for the case and picks. The model number for the guitar was 57X0710L and the case was 57D0731L. They don't make guitars or dads like this any more

Silvertone 1451 was an entry level amplifier from Sears Roebuck in the late 50's. These lesser known small combos are sleeper amps, and have a very similar sound to the Tweed Champ, minus a couple thousand dollars

Vintage 1959 Harmony H-63 Espanada body / neck. This is a true Espanada. She looks pretty good for being 65 years old. Neck joint is a bit loose so will have to have a neck reset. Joint area is very clean so it will probably lend itself to a relatively smooth reset. Fretboard extension "ski-jumps" upward because the loose neck joint allows the neck to tilt forward. Amp is in great shape, its volume knob is a little dirty and needs a clean. Its gets that crackling when you turn it sometimes, im not great at fixing vintage electronics so im not going to mess with it but when this used to happen to my tour amp i would just clean the knobs out and it would be fine. The tubes also work but probably need a change as well. It is all original parts and working

This 1957 Silvertone 618 Jumbo Acoustic guitar has been resto-upgraded. This is a Vintage 1967 Silvertone Model 1484 Twin Twelve 2x12 Guitar Combo head and cabinet. Silvertone was a trade name of the Sears, Co. This amp was made in the USA by Danelectro. Date was determined by the codes on the two matching original Jensen C12Q speakers (220708) and pot codes (1376701). All the tubes are branded Silvertone and original to the amp with one exception. Presented for your consideration is this Vintage Silvertone Guitar. The number stamped on the inside reads 3974H602 making this a Harmony Silvertone H602 manufactured between 1956-1959. I found it at an estate sale and I am selling it like I found it. Appears to be in decent original condition for the age and use of the instrument. Replacement vintage Fane speaker - actually sounds very good in this amp despite looking somewhat out of place! It??s not original hence the lower price. This is a one piece poplar neck from a 1967 Harmony Silvertone H604 parlor guitar, nice overall condition, 24" scale, 18 5" overall length, from edge of where nut would be to where the body joint / 12th fret would be is 12 " , 1 3 / 4" nut width, 2 3 / 16" 12th fret area width.
