Vintage guitars for sale: Shergold

I believe this is a 75 or 76 Shergold Marathon bass. Made in UK. Theres a connection to Burns, Hayman, Dallas Arbiter, etc The body is very similar to a WAL as well. Its a stereo or mono bass with a switch that separates the two low and two high strings for bi-amplification. This also helps to date it with its single output.

The Comet was the predecessor of the Shergold Meteor
This Guitar  looks to have been refinished in black, whether this was done at manufacturing or later, I wouldn't know. It has a well road worn body, please see photos. A couple of very small dings on the back neck
It also has a replacement tip on the pickup selector.
