Vintage Selmer amplifiers for sale

Vintage amp handles as used on many old amps and cabs
These are the slightly later version of the handle that fitted more flush to the side of the cabinet so were less prone to getting chipped and broken light the earlier ones. Used from the 1970's on.
They will probably be suitable to replace the earlier ones too but give me your sizes before buying so I can check
These are genuine original handles that have not been used

decent enough condition, no breaks just loads of dust and scratches - on the bright side they wont look our of place on your vintage cab

This has a shadow from where the logo was installed and a few small holes, the rear is unfaded so I??d probably install it with the unfaded side facing out!

Vintage 1970s 1973 Selmer Lead & Bass 100 Solid State Amplifier Head Cover *RARE
This is the first one of these I have ever seen in over 10 years. Made in 1973 / 1974, these solid state heads were meant to take over the earlier valve heads, but it never quite took off. I got this from the original owner's son who bought this back in 1973 and kept it in the house. It's in truly stunning condition and even comes with the original cover. Clean as ever! It's unclear how many (or how few?) of these cabinets Selmer made in the late 60s or early 70s and they are not listed in catalogues of the period. I've gone right through the Vintage Hofner site to see if there is any mention of them and there isn't. A beautiful Selmer dating from 1959 Truvoice 'The Professional' TV12 / T, made in England.
An iconic Selmer model finished in its original red / cream 'blood and custard' colour combination, which is typical of the period. The 'T' in this model number 'TV12 / T' refers to the on board tremolo, which was an option on these amps at the time. It has survived the decades well and appears largely original save for running repairs - even retaining its original valves

1958 Selmer Truvoice Combo Amplifier Blood And Custard.... more

Here we have a real rarity. This cabinet is taken from a mid 1960's Selmer Twin Lead 30. The Twin Lead 30 was an unusual type of combo amplifier whereby the amp itself was in a metal case mounted on top of the speaker cabinet. Note the mounting holes and speaker cable hole on the top side of the cabinet. I purchased this cabinet with the Selmer Treble 'n' Bass I also have for sale. This is the veryrare Reverb Amplifier from the 60s- and the reverb sounds incredible. I do nothave a foot switch but it can be activated with just a ¼?? plug. It has originalMullard EL34 output Valves and all Mullard Ecc83 Pre-amp tubes. 1969 Selmer Treble N Bass 50 Reverb Valve Guitar Amplifier Head
Here we have a great and rare amplifier - Last year of Treble N' Bass 50 Reverb
before going to silver face. These amps do sound incredible.
2x EL34 valves and the preamp valves are ECC83.
This amp has just been fully serviced by Jon Dickinson of
Dickinson Amplification in London. The ECC83s have just been changed
as well as a pot and a couple of resistors. In very good overall condition.

Here is a lovely vintage Selmer Zodiac Twin 30 2x12" speaker cabinet from 1964, complete with two original Celestion G12 loudspeakers. The amp. was bought new in 1964 and used in a semi-pro band for keyboards and vocals. The amplifier section was removed in 1967 and used separately. The cabinet was later used for guitar until 1985 when it was semi-retired. Since then it has had only light use. Early 60??s alligator skinned, serviced, working amplifier head. I use it mainly for guitar and it??s got a great tone, sometimes I use it for base but my speaker isn??t up to taking the eb3 pickup
The amp has been modified with a standby in the past which is handy when gigging, this could be taken out to put back to original but it is a very handy period mod

Vintage 1968 Selmer Zodiac Tremolo 100 Super Valve Guitar Amplifier Head *1960s
So I doubt you'll find another of these. I recently purchased this off of the long term owner from new, a 1968 Selmer 100w Zodiac Tremolo Super head, lovely and original inside. You don't see the 100w version of these very often at all - I've literally not seen another in all my years doing this. Selmer Constellation 20 Watt Crocskin Combo with original cover and foot pedal .
Dates from between 1963 and 1965. .There are a couple of small marks / tears on the outer cover as pictured but overall it is in amazing original condition for its age. The Selmer Truvoice cover has a couple of splits on the bottom edges. All channels work including Tremolo. There is some background noise when warm but I have owned it for around 20 years and it has always been the same.
