You are looking at what's left over from 3 Westone projects I recently wrapped up
What we have here is a 1985 Spectrum LX neck paired with a 1985 Spectrum LX body, they were just manufactured in different months (2nd # of serial #). The chrome hardware is from a 1985 Westone Spectrum SX (it's the same hardware Westone put on the LX models, only it's chrome instead of black)
The electronics are from an LX model and they should all be working, can't swear all 3 of the push / pull pots work... more

Excellent condition! Beautiful natural Maplewood finish with almost zero scratches, just some dust around pickups visible in pictures. Killer Guitar, checking all over with age, guitar is super rad. Plays and sounds fantastic, dialed in in E standard, and will blow the doors off the house. Guitar is used, it's 80s, I think 84, plays fantastic, great fretboard and easy to move around and play. Pickups are fantastic, if you haven't played one of these you should. This 1984 Bass is solid, and has a good thick sound. Plays great!

One very red 1980s classic guitar, made in the legendary Matsumoku factory. This is HSS with a locking trem unit. It has plenty of age related marks but nothing major. Some visible fret wear but it plays nicely, low action, everything works fine. A couple of saddle bolts are not original, other than those it is very original, even the tiny locking nut clamps.

Westone Thunder 1A Bass Guitar. Made in Japan in the early 1980s. According to the Westone website ??Westoneguitars net?? this model was made between 1981 and 1983 at the Matsumoto factory I bought this used in 1993 and used it until about 2000 and it has not been used much since then. Very nice Japanese made vintage electric guitar, Matsumoku factory, 1984 sorta time. Been competently stained and refinished at some point a fairly long time ago, and worn in subsequently. Stock MMK pickups with coil splits on the toggles. Fingerboard freshly oiled, frets freshly polished, takes a low action great. Current amp demo guitar, probably be sorry to see it go, but I'm a bass player

Vintage Westone Concord 1 (1984), rare Medium (32?? Scale) bass, Made in Japan at the famous Matsumoku factory. With a solid alder glossy black body and white pickguard. Vintage & collectable Westone Thunder 1, made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1982
The body is laminated ash, maple and walnut and looks fabulous with all the grain showing ?? and the neck is maple. The neck is bolted on and has a rosewood 22 fret fingerboard and a scale of 24 75 inches. Vintage 1980??s Westone electric guitar in burgundy. Very cool rare design. Great patina as it was used as a gig guitar for many years. Works (can be demonstrated) but is starting to show its age so could do with some tlc or a recommision.

After much debate I have decided to part with my Westone Thunder 2A.
