Beautiful vintage 1977 Takamine ??lawsuit era?? 12-string guitar, serial number 77121312. It is in very good plus condition and sounds amazing. There are minor light blemishes, some wear in the neck and a small chip in the bottom left corner on the front, but in general a beautiful condition guitar (please see pics). Currently strung with 6 strings as I used it for a professional recording and needed a 6-string sound. It plays very nicely with great action and the sound is rich, full, and bright... more

I'm selling the artwork more than the guitar but I will describe the condition of the guitar as well. Lets take a look at the guitar first. Its a lawsuit takamine F340. These were made very well and play and sound amazing. This one has a few issues. One is the bridge which has pulled away from the body. Still stays in tune and the action isnt so high that you can't play it at or at least strum it. Finish on the top would need to be redone but again I'm selling the artwork more than the guitar.... more

Up for sale is a very-good / excellent condition example of a pretty rare guitar. This Takamine Model 10 was hand-built under the guidance of Masaichi Furui, a well-known luthier. I recently acquired this but am selling because I probably won't play it all that much, but not because it doesn't sound good. This guitar is in great shape and plays and sounds just as good. Being 50 years old it has only light wear consistent with use. No visible cracks or separation anywhere. A brace under the bridge was installed in the 1990s to improve structural integrity. See it in the pictures.

La chitarra e stata settata dal mio liutaio provvedendo ad ottenere la migliore suonabita' ottenendo una action molto molto bassa che consente grande facilità a gestire la pressione delle dita sulle corde . Ovviamente ogni tasto di ogni corda in tutte le posizioni da quella più vicina alla paletta a quella terminale suonano senza alcun problema cosa che in una Eko di quegli anni è piuttosto rara

Takamine F400S 'Lawsuit' 12-String Dreadnought Circa 1977 with later Pickup and Hiscox Hardcase
A beautiful sounding instrument, from the era when Takamine were told to cease and disist by the Martin lawyers for copying their products outright.
At some point a pickup has been sympathetically added to this instrument and the jack output is situated within the stap button
The S suffix designates that the top is solid spruce, rather than laminate spuce used in the F400

This little Beauty is a 1982 Takamine PT-06EKW with Koa finish, quite rare and hard to find info on, but a very nice guitar in very good condition for her age. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine, string clearance at 12th fret is 3mm, width at nut is 40mm and at 12th fret 50mm, usual small amount of fretboard wear at 2nd and 3rd frets, fretboard is Rosewood.
