Here we have a real rarity. This cabinet is taken from a mid 1960's Selmer Twin Lead 30. The Twin Lead 30 was an unusual type of combo amplifier whereby the amp itself was in a metal case mounted on top of the speaker cabinet. Fantastic, rare Selmer Twin Bass 30 valve combo. A bit of an oddball and all the better for it. The 30 watt valve head sits on top of the cabinet in a steel box and contains a pair of EL605 power pentodes, an ECC83 and a GZ34 rectifier valve. It all works. If I was keeping this (I'm not as I quite like being married) I'd replace all the electrolytic capacitors, and check and replace as necessary the other components too, as it's over 50 years old. Vintage amp handles as used on many old amps and cabs
These are the slightly later version of the handle that fitted more flush to the side of the cabinet so were less prone to getting chipped and broken light the earlier ones. Used from the 1970's on.
They will probably be suitable to replace the earlier ones too but give me your sizes before buying so I can check

Here is a lovely vintage Selmer Zodiac Twin 30 2x12" speaker cabinet from 1964, complete with two original Celestion G12 loudspeakers. The amp. was bought new in 1964 and used in a semi-pro band for keyboards and vocals. The amplifier section was removed in 1967 and used separately. The cabinet was later used for guitar until 1985 when it was semi-retired. Since then it has had only light use. Great little lunchbox amp from 1968
Great studio amp, decent crunch, makes a good pedal platform as well as for re-amping digital audio, vocals, drums etc
Designed to be used with either guitar or bass
Fully functional, it's just come back from my tech where its been serviced
This is compatible with 110 voltages(the selector is on the Mains transformer) it's also pretty compact - so makes an ideal home studio amp, not to mention very portable!

This is the first one of these I have ever seen in over 10 years. Made in 1973 / 1974, these solid state heads were meant to take over the earlier valve heads, but it never quite took off. In overall good condition for age but is in need of some simple TLC Two tuning pegs missing, the nut is missing, the bottom strap button is missing and there are a few scuffs and scrapes!

Very rare little guitar dating back to 1964. It was made in Japan, probably by Guyatone, who made some very similar shaped guitars in the late fifties. It was imported to the UK by the Selmer company, who would have named it "Freshman"

1969 Selmer Treble N Bass 50 Reverb Valve Guitar Amplifier Head
Here we have a great and rare amplifier - Last year of Treble N' Bass 50 Reverb
before going to silver face. These amps do sound incredible.
2x EL34 valves and the preamp valves are ECC83.
This amp has just been fully serviced by Jon Dickinson of
Dickinson Amplification in London. The ECC83s have just been changed
