This really is a rare guitar - Arnold Hoyer Vollton in good condition
Manufactured around 1955.
The guitar looks stunning in person and the pictures do not do it justice. The lacquer is cracking slightly on the bodywork but to be expected on a guitar of this age. It is a used guitar and I have really enjoyed it It is delicate and needs to be played with care but the sound is powerful, balanced and warm

Don't play this guitar much anymore and it's too good to just keep sitting around
Plays beautifully, excellent action and no issues but natural wear and tear on the guitar - so please don't expect perfect!Only one owner prior to me, who purchased this guitar new. He had the pick-ups added soon after purchasing

I bought this many years ago and was told it is one of a prototype of 3 guitars Otwin made for a presentation in 1962 This bass plays really well and has been enjoyed, though not much in the past few years
The neck is long - apparently Otwin wanted to replicate the feel of a double bass It really has a wonderful sound.
I'm not a bass player and have used it just for fun but if using professionally it maybe be an idea to get a pro set up if you purchase it
