Just in is this great 1960's Premier Bantam
These Multivox made Premier guitars are great. This particular Bantam is in great shape. It recently had its neck reset, a fresh re-fret and had the neck binding replaced. The guitar now plays great and will for years to come. The pickups and electronics are all original and work and sound very good. The pickups would benefit from having wood spacers put between them and the body of the guitar to bring them a little closer to the strings for more ... more

Not Working .Amp has not been used in many years. Turned on and 6X4 rectifier tube started sparking. Turned off and pulled out 6X4, turned back on and left on and the other tubes stayed lite for a few minutes with correct 1 1 / 2 Amp fuse. Then turned off, no blown fuse. Very nice and rare player grade late 50s(from what I found this is an earlier one of this model) Premier A300. The binding was cracking like a lot of these oldies happen to. (See photos) There is a light layer of woodglue that kept the rest of binding from cracking. The sunburst has faded and looks great. PREMIER MULTIVOX E741 SCROLL BASS
Here's a very rare 1950s Premier scroll bass that has been restored / modified
It came a few years ago as a body and neck with only the original string
tree remaining I was told it had been scavenged for parts
As is common with these old Premiers, some of the binding was missing or crumbling as
happens with a lot of old Gretsch guitars. This has been rectified, keeping and re-gluing the
original binding where possible
