As you can tell from this listing and my others that I struggle with throwing anything away! For sale today we have this Kalamazoo KG-1A electric guitar body that has been custom painted on the front only. I wiped some of the paint off with naptha so the rest may come off as well? Neck I got in a trade that I don??t have a use for at the moment. Seems to have been refinished at some point. There is a bit of a lip where the finish reaches the fingerboard and they taped it off, could use some sanding.

Throw it on a Kalamazoo or make a new body for it.

Vintage 1930s Kalamazoo KG-31 archtop acoustic guitar made by Gibson. This1930s KG-31 is all original except for the pickguard and the pickguard hardware. The old Kluson tuners work pretty well considering their age. The Brazilian rosewood bridge is set as low as it will go, but despite the low bridge height, the string action at the 12th fret is fast enough that the guitar is very comfortable to play all the way up the neck

Kalamazoo (Gibson economy line) KG-32 Oriole archtop acoustic guitar with Alvarez branded hardshell case. What a cool guitar made as a lower priced line by Gibson during the 30's & 40's as an option from its more expensive L-0. Its unusual bell shape was ahead of its time giving it lots of bass & treble tones on a budget. Its 2-tone Dark Sunburst finish is in pretty fine yet slightly weathered shape w / lots of cool patina. Incredible sounding and playing kalamazoo kg-14 that has been completely gone through by my luthier!
The neck and fretboard were in bad shape after being played to death since 1939. A neck reset was done with a neck fretboard being made (the original was like a pothole road and left it unplayable) with fresh frets, a new nut and saddle. The guitar plays like a brand new

For sale is a Kalamazoo KGN-12 "Oriole" 1941 Parlor Acoustic in Good Condition!
This classic was made in the famous Kalamazoo plant back in 1941 and for it's age, it plays great!
The acoustic has been professionally serviced. The bridge was removed and belly reducer used, but there is still a significant belly under the bridge. However, if the belly was removed any more, the action would be too low
There is plenty of bone saddle height to adjust down if you so choose

The Kalamazoo Guitar brand was a subsidiary of the Gibson Guitar Co. from Kalamazoo Michigan. At that time, it was a budget model offered price wise but these have come into their own over the last 30 years, some being fabulous original guitars from the late 30's thru the early 40's.
