Rare 1985 Ibanez DT380 Destroyer Japan Barbed wire
Here's a rare Ibanez DT380 barbed wire. This was made in Japan in 1985, and this series was only available in 84, and 85. It has the Pro Rock'r Tremolo, and locking nut, which was only available on the 85 model. It has some chips, and minor buckle rash on the back. This RARE Ibanez Destroyer II DT-400 model was manufactured in Japan at the FujiGen factory, and only on the market for one year from 1981 until mid-1982. This 1982 model features a Cherry Flame Maple top with cream binding to a solid body, which my research tells me is made of basswood. The DT-400 models released in 1981 had a solid mahogany body and pearl dot inlays on the 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Here is an all original 1981 Ibanez Destroyer 2. It plays like a dream & just like Adrian Smith for Iron Maiden back in the day it screams 80??s rock / metal. It has some dings and chips on the edges and body but nothing you wouldn??t expect from a 44 year old guitar that has been used. Many pay thousands for aging like this!
