This is an early archtop Jazz guitar made by Arnold Hoyer

For its age, this guitar looks, sounds, and plays beautifully. There is some aging to the finish, which you can see from the photos. But it is fully functional with no structural issues. Very good action. Good original condition exept one changed tuner knob. "Ideal" Pickup . very long original tremolo arm . neck joint OK . frets OK . jack plug placed in F hole ( no extra holes) . The pots are not tested and not sold beetween PU and jack socket . but they work . when plugged to amp Sound is very good this way !!!!! More pics if required

This is a truly wonderful guitar - an original 1950s (believe to be 1958) Herr Im Frack Hoyer Jazz guitar. Hoyer Telecaster Meisterbau. Weniger als 100 Stück wurden von diesem Modell gefertigt. Endloses Sustain und beste Komponenten! Kaum Abnutzung auf den Bünden, sie spielt sich wie neu. Der Klang hat konstruktionsbedingt mehr Wärme und weniger Twang als eine Bolt on Tele. Das geht schon Richtung Paula. Ein paar Dings und Dongs und Haarrisse im Lack am Hals wegen des sehr dicken Lackes bei Hoyer in den achtzigern. Alles in Allem ein guter Zustand für das Alter. Sie kommt im vintage Koffer. ... more
