Extremely rare 1978 Gibson mk81. Based on the serial number I'm pretty sure 1978 is the correct year . this guitar had a very limited number produced and you don't see them too often. Almost never in fact. This particular guitar is in great shape compared to others  I've seen. There is a few dings on it. Some of the binding is lifting but not too bad. Incredible sounding and playing kalamazoo kg-14 that has been completely gone through by my luthier!
The neck and fretboard were in bad shape after being played to death since 1939. A neck reset was done with a neck fretboard being made (the original was like a pothole road and left it unplayable) with fresh frets, a new nut and saddle. The guitar plays like a brand new

Up for sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar. This guitar is in fair to good condition. It does show normal signs of age and use, including scratches, dents and dings. The finish on this guitar is crackling, over most of the guitar. There are small holes on the front of the body where I suspect the pick guard use to be. The tuners have also been changed out, and the original tuner holes are exposed. There are no cracks to the body or necks. There is light fret wear.

Late 1968 Gibson J-45ADJ Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar with a Cherry Sunburst finish. There are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. Everything is original except for newer strap buttons. So the big news on this one is there is a crack on the headstock. I had it strung up with some medium gauge acoustic strings and it never seemed to bother it at all but the crack flexes a little bit when torqued upon. I have not screwed it down or glued it which would likely help. The truss rod I imagine is holding it in tighter then it would be if there was not a truss rod and I assume there is a truss rod because there is a truss rod plastic cover although I have not removed it. I believe this is a 1974 although I'm not certain. When I  bought this it had an issue. Someone had painted it. So I sent it to the shop and they took out all the paint and got it back to its original surface. It does need a new waterslide and that is something you can order from Gibson directly or here on eBay.
Also the tuning keys are a bit tight as in the need to be lubricated. They turn fine and don't affect the tuning but its a little stiff.

Has the usual nicks, scuffs, and scratches you find on 60-year-old guitars, but no bad cracks, splits, repairs, etc. Neck is straight providing excellent action. Bridge is original rosewood.
