This bass has an incredible history. The bass started life as a 1971 Fender Precision bass. A few years later, the Schecter Guitar Research company in Van Nuys, California did an upgrade and added Bartoline pickups, changed to a Bad Ass II bridge, changed to a Schecter chrome plated brass pick guard, and redid the electronics using Bourns high performance potentiometers which was Schecter's trademark.
