This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

Considering it's age it is in really good condition. It is constructed of a spruce top, mahogany neck, back and sides, rosewood fretboard

Naturally with a guitar of this age there are going to be some imperfections, and so there are a couple of knocks to the edging and splits to the varnish finish (not the wood itself) which I've tried to show in the pictures, but my view is this adds to the character and soul of it! Well beaten up though well set up to sounds plays and feels amazing looks terrible well roadworn lots of cracking in the lacquer common to ekos of this age but not through to the wood it's structurally sound major crack on the shoulder which has been repaired before I got it and chips and cracking on the purfling again not through to the wood this guitar will last another 50 odd years if looked after grab yourself a bargain

A really nice guitar regardless of price, but especially nice in this budget. Has a really nice, loud and clear acoustic sound with a deep but clear bass. The (Fishman 2-band EQ) electronics sound great when plugged in. The neck is straight, the truss rod works great and the action is low all across the fretboard. Has just been fitted with brand new strings. Just needs a new 9v battery. Absolute bargain

I bought it with a headstock repair where it has been dropped so please look in the pictures to see all the damage cased by this, there is a crack in the body right next to where the neck mounts, a crack right at the headstock and also 2 very small ones on the body right next to the neck. Plays nicely. Strings are not new and could benefit from changing. There is some wear to the frets as to be expected and the neck appears to be ok. It holds its tune ok but suspect with playing will go out tune with the old strings

You just don't get guitars like these any more as the trees used to make them are not allowed to be cut down
Only with guitars made of the correct woods and aged and seasoned can you get that wonderful tone

This is a late 60's Ranger 12 with the white sci-fi 'bubble' logo and scroll label, serial number approximates the guitar to 1968
This is one of the best pieces around with no lacquer cracks or usual issues seen with 99% of these
At nearly 60 its a great piece!
Nice low action and ships with a good quality slightly later premium case with alloy trim
