It's difficult to capture the beauty and craftsmanship of this rare 46-year-old guitar in these pictures. The finish is worn on the pickups, there are tiny dings and scratches that don't show up well in photos, look closely and see small chips in the binding and a tiny chip in the nut at the first string. Good to very good condition. Body certainly has wear and blemishes for being over 60 years old. It was just professionally tuned and cleaned up, neck adjusted, bridge adjusted, pots cleaned and electronics serviced, new end pin. It has all original parts as far as I know. The action is somewhat high, but plays incredibly well. The electronics sound great, but the volume (lower knob) has some static up to about 70% and the static goes away. Up for sale we have a hard to find 1969 Harmony Made in the USA model H1213 Archtone Archtop Acoustic Guitar. This rare guitar is stamped inside the f-hoe 2269H1212. It has some shrinkage damage which has caused the top and bottom to pull away from the sides along the edges. Also, the top is warped / wavy in the middle near where the bridge sits. First the bad news.
Main supports have become unglued and will need to be re-attached. Unless you're a miracle worker, the back will need to be removed to set them right. If you're a luthier or have advanced experience with this type of restoration, this guitar is a beautiful potential project. It does play and action is great but without the supports it will, in time break.

Very rare The Aristone Besson guitar.
It has been repaired from some modifications a previous owner made. The holes (clearly shown in the pictures) were repaired using more spruce wood. This at least helped me learn this guitar was made with solid woods and carved solid spruce top. The back is solid, with a flamed veneer.
It was all refinished with blonde shellac. It looks great, and has an astonishing flamed back.

This is a 1953 Hofner Senator archtop guitar
At some point in its life a previous owner added a cheap Chinese bridge pickup and some electronics. When I got the guitar I made the best of it by replacing the pickup with a Bare Knuckle Blue 90 P90 pickup. I also replaced the cheap nasty knobs with some vintage bakelite knobs from a pre-war radio, I replaced the tuners with Kluson Deluxe strip tuners, I and added a tune-o-matic floating bridge

This vintage Hofner President archtop guitar is being sold for a friend whose husband owned it before he passed.
Crafted in 1958, it still rings nicely, especially with the Hofner compensator holding the ball end of the strings. Please look carefully at the pictures as the D string strip is slightly bent - but has little impact on tone.

Very minor scratching and dings are highlighted on the pictures, otherwise a good, honest vintage guitar.

Here's a cool old 1930s archtop project for someone. Custom Kraft branded guitars such as this one were made by both Harmony and Regal and perhaps others as well but this one was made by Regal, the headstock, neck shape, and body shape are all dead giveaways.

Repaired as the headstock broke off. I used glue, screws, and wood for support. In my experience, it won??t break again.
The repair was painted over, it looks and feels pretty good.
Apart from that, all the accessories were replaced, so it lost most of its collectible value, but it is still a very good looking German 60??s archtop guitar that sounds and plays amazing.

Vintage Archtop Guitar

Quirky old 1972 Guyatone with a booster switch and two p90s. They run on the hotter side especially with the booster - love using the neck for jazz and there is heaps of depth and personality in the tone but it was actually intended as a rockabilly guitar. If you put roundwounds on it, it sounds great playing twangier, snarly material.
