This is a Washburn A20 / V - likely 1985. It was part of the BBV series of Washburn that ran for a very brief time within the A20 history. The BBV series were black with red / black multi-ply body binding, red neck binding, and red fretboard markers. The A20 model is the desirable model. Up for sale, a (presumed from the serial) 1985 Kramer Striker 100ST in blue finish. This guitar has survived pretty well over the years. Plays and sounds great. Straight neck, low action, truss turns, electronics are clean. New Slinky 10s. There are plenty of dings, scratches, and dents throughout. Worst offenders pictured. There's patina on the pole pieces, some light pitting on the tuning machines, cracking in the back plate, discoloration on the pickguard, scratches on the back of the neck. This is a Gibson The Paul from 1985 that is very special indeed. The Pauls were typically natural finishes and this is a charcoal metallic finish that has aged to a really nice olive green that you would expect from a silverburst Custom of a similar age. Ibanez Roadstar II neck, made in Japan in 1985.

As I was removing the paint, I discovered that part of the rosewood strip was repaired in the past. At the heel of the neck I could read ??restored 1995??, and I couldn??t even notice the repair under the paint, so I know this won??t be a problem in the future.
Despite mentioned repair, everything works as it should. Really nice thin neck. Very good quality. Ideal to paint and install on a high end guitar.

1985 USA Explorer?? doesn??t get much better! Same year and line as the Hetfield explorers back in the day. Kahler bridge for the bombs! Love this guitar so much and sounds incredible! Sadly doesn??t get used anymore so it needs playing! Offering for sale my 1985 model 50 made in Japan Tokai SG. Complete with hard case. Rare model and very collectible . The guitar is in outstanding condition for its age, some light buckle rash on the back, and one very small chip near the Jack socket ( see photo) it??s very minor really. Genuine lefty Fender Japan Stratocaster neck from 1985. The serial # would have been on the neckplate during this era, so it's most likely an A or E series.
No neckplate or other mounting hardware is included.
Tuners have been changed to Gotoh Magnum locking type.
The nut slots are cut for right-handed stringing.
