Vintage 1984 Gibson explorer that has been refinished (previous owner to me) to a natural finish. They did take off the paint and logo from the headstock but I have taken this guitar to multiple guitar shops in my area and it is possible to see the serial number, when looked up it does show it was made on September 18th, 1984 at the Nashville plant in Tennessee

This is a rare Made in Japan Squier by Fender Jazz Bass. The serial number indicates that it was made between 1984 and 1987. It is finished in black paint, presumably with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard (although I can't verify the wood species myself)

Here??s my 1984 stingray - I??ve had since new. The paintwork started to peel off a while back. At the time, MM were experimenting with finishes; this one, unfortunately, didn??t bond well. (It was the only colour of this kind to be imported to the UK - I know because I worked for the importer!)
I didn??t want to refin it??so it??s been left to peel
Despite the looks, this bass plays like a dream. Super low action (if you like that sort of thing), even with 45-105??s.

I bought this guitar in 1982, making it vintage. Well gigged in 80??s and 90??s. In fairly good condition, pictures detail damage to guitar and flight case. Still plays great, sounds great. Comes with flight case. Machine heads were replaced in the late 90??s, they are now the brand grover these were replaced because the G string was slipping (now fine) also has coil tap on tone control.
