No sound from the middle pickup. Haven't opened it up to see if the pickup is dead or just needs to be soldered. One of the mini switches and the back plate are missing. There's a good amount of fret wear, mainly in 1st position. There's wear in the clear coat on the fretboard. Lots of cosmetic flaws throughout. Up for sale is a 1981 Gibson USA The Paul empty husk. The headstock was cracked a while back. All breaks have been repaired. They are good solid repairs but the crack lines are still visible and can be felt. Lots of other cosmetic damage but it??s still a solid player. The entire guitar was finished with a glossy poly. I bought this used around 1986. It has seen a lot of used over the years and has a few finish blemishes to show for it. However, it is very playable and to my knowledge all original. It comes with the original Gibson hard shell case also with a few minor wear and tear issues. I have included photo's of the minor scrapes, scratches and chips for disclosure. I did have to replace the pick guard but I bought a Gibson made replacement for it. It sounds great and has decent action!

The serial number has been scratched off (I didn't notice this until quite a few years after I bought it in 1989. However this amp has the push pull volume knob boost which fender introduced in 1977 and they then discontinued the amp in 1981 so the age of the amp is somewhere between those two dates
