The serial number has been scratched off (I didn't notice this until quite a few years after I bought it in 1989. Takamine F400S 'Lawsuit' 12-String Dreadnought Circa 1977 with later Pickup and Hiscox Hardcase
A beautiful sounding instrument, from the era when Takamine were told to cease and disist by the Martin lawyers for copying their products outright.
At some point a pickup has been sympathetically added to this instrument and the jack output is situated within the stap button
The S suffix designates that the top is solid spruce, rather than laminate spuce used in the F400

Carlsbro badged but the exact same spec as what Hiwatt, Matamp and Orange were using at the same time!(just a lot cheaper)

Great condition, the cones move freely and have absolutely no issues, the only thing to note is that one of the cones has an old repair, looks to have been down at the factory as its been repaired using doping - you do see this occasionally

For Sale is a 1977 Marshall Base Amplifier. My son in law, who plays the guitar has tried it and says that it works fine, however as he's never seen one before, he cannot confirm that it sounds as it should. I've taken the front cover off and the two drivers, cones and foams are in good undamaged condition. The circuit boards show no sign of heat damage. Rare vintage Ibanez 1977 Les Paul Standard. Had this guitar for approx 32 years and unfortunately the time has come to part with it.
