With much adoration we named this vintage Strat "Butter" as the lacquer has turned it's original white into a nice melted yellow. This Strat sounds incredible and is all original apart from a Seymour Duncan bridge pickup (which is a suitable upgrade to our ears) however the original bridge pickup is included. I acquired this guitar from the original owner who told me he bought it new in 1973 or 74. The softshell case's wouldn't stay closed over the years so he junked it and got another one for it. The guitar itself is in excellent condition, I don't believe he played it too much over the years if at all, since the frets show no wear. Up for sale is a very cool 1974 Takamine 375S in Natural. This example features a spruce top w / very "Brazilian" looking back and sides. Overall in very good condition less some scattered play wear and finish wear. The action is on the medium side and the saddle is about as low as it will go. This is a 1974 Howard Roberts Custom in near mint original condition. My Master Luthier went over the guitar and it is in incredible original condition and needs not further work. No pickguard. Flawless original frets, no marks in finish. Amazing for a 50 year old master built in Kalamazoo, MI guitar. Pickup shows some oxidation. Sound is big and beautiful

Its hard to date it exactly but I'm assuming its 1974 based on the serial number plaque on the back and its has Celestion G12M speakers which were used at that time. It was made by Vox Sound Ltd. 50 Years old! Stood the test of time, a beautifully playing SG that compares to any of the Gibsons I've owned and played. Completely original, missing the switch tip, has a few age related scuffs / marks as expected on a guitar of this age (see photos) the slight crack on the lower horn appears to be just paint and neck / body joint is solid.
