This 1960s / 1970s Teisco Tempo bass has been lovingly played through the years and it definitely shows its age. The electronics all work. The pots are a bit scratchy and would benefit from some electronic cleaning spray. I cleaned it up and put new strings on it. It's a Jazz bass copy that was made in the Teisco factory over in Japan. It was a solid state amplifier, with a 7 Watts RMS rating, but it was designed with special "bounce-back" power supply, like a strobe, which made it sound more like a 25 watt amp. Vintage 1972 Celestion Greenback G12H 30w 16ohm T1217 12" Speaker *1970s
This is an original Celestion G12H T1217 speaker dating to October 1972, complete with the original 102 3 stamped cone. Beautiful guitar, the pickups sound amazing. In really wonderful condition. There have been no breaks or repairs, it has had a new bridge professionally done at some point which helps them stay in tune longer. And it's been re-fretted professionally (hardly noticeable, and the frets have plenty of life!). The pickups are vintage seymour duncan, which sound fantastic

On offer is a vintage early 1970's Japan-import Epiphone Dreadnaught Acoustic FT-145 Texan guitar project. The Serial # is a six digit sequence and is '440586'. The exact dating of Japanese Epiphones is somewhat uncertain but this guitar has the early Blue label inside the soundhole as described in the following extract, with 'Made in Japan' printed on the label, indicating the guitar was made between 1972 and 1975

There is honest wear on the face of the guitar and the finish on the back of the neck has come away a bit. It's a stunning looking guitar in great condition, BUT what I love most about this guitar is the tone from the Dimarzio bridge pickup and it's light weight for a Les Paul. At 3 8kg or just over 8 lbs [see table in photos] it's not much heavier than a Stratocaster and a great example of Japanese Lawsuit Era guitars of the 70's.

Nice quality Japanese built guitar from the late 1970s to early 1980s the Golden era for Japanese guitar making. Built by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company it is a very decent stratocaster. American standard quality at half the price. Not much information on these as they were produced only for the Japanese domestic market so they are rare in the rest of the world.
