This is one fantastic, real deal, vintage Fender Jazzmaster. It is beautifully refinished in a lightly checked nitro white / blond that shows the grain of the fairly rare ash body. Finish was done by Riggio custom guitars. It's got the dark and hard Brazilian rosewood slab fingerboard on a superbly aged, original finish maple neck. This is an original 1959 Fender Tweed Champ amp 5F1 w / an original Jensen speaker dated to the 47th week of 1958. Its factory label is perfectly intact & dated ??IB?? for February 1959. The tweed covering is a bit tired mostly on its bottom side in need of some re-gluing. Its grill cloth is quite nice. This Beautiful 1959 Reissue 3Tone Sunburst Strat was found in a purchased storage locker that contained another guitar a couple of bodies and parts. The chassis had its final test on 08 / 10 / 1971 and seems to be mostly original, this is in the era when the boards were still hand wired and the mustard caps date to 1970. Its currently running a set of JJ EL34's with matching JJ ECC83S pre amp valves

OHV is offering our only accoustic fat body committee
For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. Around the side srew of the pick guard is a little touched up area and on the backside bottom edge where the ornamentel inlay ends is a tiny patch of dopped out laquer. for it age but is showing some signs of wear mainly on front of the body where the finish has worn off by palm, fingers and picks. This is a Hofner Colorama II with the serial number 210
I think this dates it as 1959-1961
This guitar is sold 'as seen'. It is an old guitar and does not play like something made in 2024.
It needs to go to someone who understands vintage guitars and will cherish this as I tried to.
I bought it in 1981 from a second-hand musical equipment shop at the bottom of Westgate Road in Newcastle Upon Tyne (let me know if you remember the place - anecdotes always appreciated!)

Amazing rare vintage Hofner 495 from 1959
I've had this guitar for ~ 8yrs, I played it regularly in the first year, and hardly at all since, it hasn't been played for at least 3 yrs. It's been sat in a hardcase without strings since (CASE NOT INCLUDED)
There are a few issues that should be noted, please see photos :
- There are a few white paint flecks in various spots, like this when I bought it
