Physical Condition
This guitar is in great condition with very little wear. There are a few swirl marks on the body and pickguard, as well as some light tarnishing on the hardware, but clean overall. This guitar has an internal stamp of T7290 25 inside which dates it to 1958. This is a 1958 5F8 Tweed Twin chassis. Serial #A00053
Obviously, its pretty rough, but it works, and it screams.
When I got it (chassis only), it had been neglected for years and was a mess. It needed a full cap job, new 3 prong cable, fuse holder, a few of the pots replaced, 1 input jack, the rectifier socket, and little bit of wiring cleanup work.

This guitar is in great condition with only some light wear. There are a few light scuffs and swirl marks on the body, the back of the neck has very slightly glossed over from playing, and there is some light tarnishing on the hardware, but clean condition overall. Otherwise, there is no other cosmetic damage to make note of aside from some superficial scratches associated with normal play and use. Overall, this is a great sounding and playing guitar

For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.

This vintage Hofner President archtop guitar is being sold for a friend whose husband owned it before he passed.
Crafted in 1958, it still rings nicely, especially with the Hofner compensator holding the ball end of the strings. Please look carefully at the pictures as the D string strip is slightly bent - but has little impact on tone.

Very minor scratching and dings are highlighted on the pictures, otherwise a good, honest vintage guitar.

Here??s a very rare one. One of the first double cutaway Juniors from 1958. Only a few were made with the enlarged pick guard like this
It has the earliest serial number I??ve seen on a double cutaway Les Paul Junior.
The pick up may have been rewound as the solder joint looks re-done. The pots have 1957 date codes.
As can be seen in the pictures this guitar has seen a lot of use. Plenty of checking, dents, scratches and gouges. The frets are original and have plenty of playing time ... more
