This great guitar is an original Guild Model X-150 from way back in 1954 . While this is mostly original , it does have what appears to be an aftermarket tailpiece, and it had a modern aftermarket truss rod cover, which we have removed. We are trying to find a cover that is more correct, but for now it is photographed, and it is being sold without a truss rod cover The bridge is correct, but it just looks too new for me to call it original. ONE 1954 5D6, 5E6, 5E6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 2820 output Transformer. This is a clean working unit. There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. GIBSON VINTAGE 1954 GA-5 LES PAUL JR AMPLIFIER IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION
This is a 3-tube amplifier using 5Y3 rectifier, 6SJ7 preamp, and 6V6 output. I replaced the old filter capacitors with 600 volt electrolytics. The coupling capacitors were leaky, and replaced them with 630 volt film capacitors, insuring the amplifier would work for many years to come without failures from the old paper capacitors. My dad purchased this guitar and case from Sears, Roebuck on January 10, 1954. Please see the sales and delivery receipt and care instructions. He never threw anything away and he kept everything in great condition. He paid $15 25 for the guitar and 6 89 for the case and picks. The model number for the guitar was 57X0710L and the case was 57D0731L. They don't make guitars or dads like this any more

Original pickguard for a 1954 ?? 1959Fender Stratocaster. There is a crack and a small part is missing near the slotfor the switch. A thin layer of plastic (0, 5 mm) is glued underneath tostabilize the pickguard. As it is loose at some points, I assume that it can beremoved without any problems
