Vintage guitars for sale: Peavey T40

Excellent condition. About as good as you will find. This is the older model with the thinner switches and the volume / tone setting notches in the pick guard. I believe this is a 1979. I was told that this particular case is original to this year of the T-40 and was only offered for 1 year before they started putting them in the chainsaw cases. Please feel free to ask any questions.

1981 (serial number 00876042) Peavey T-40 in the rare white finish, professionally refurbished by Curtis Guitars. In the original injection molded Peavey hard case. Sale includes a copy of the shop receipt.
All functions tested and passed, including the potentiometer controlled coil splitting. New strings, frets leveled and dressed, complete setup. Small hole in pickguard made by previous owner to add an additional switch (removed). No other significant cosmetic issues. Very minor dings, ... more

Peavey T-40 from 1982. It??s the swamp ash legend of the 80s in natural finish and I??ve proudly owned this one for 17 years. I use 5 string now and I??m clearing out space.

Plays well but isn??t cosmetically perfect. Some buckle rash, light pick guard scratches, cracked plastic near pickup

The older Hartley Peavey gets, the more valuable his vintage products become. Wise collectors seem to have picked up on the fact that Peavey's guitars weren't priced lower when they were new for any reason besides Hartley wanted his gear to be affordable to working musicians. 1979 or 80 t40 with original case in amazing condition for its age. Everything functions fine , little minor scratching in pots but probably just needs to turned a few times to work it out. One little fret buzz at 18th fret on d string but other than that its good

This bass has been refretted with dunlop 6100s and refinished with amber- gunstock color tinted poly.
All electronics and pots are refreshed with 500k cts pots and currently wired as double humbucker setup (Volume - Volume - Tone - Tone) I have all of the original parts which will be included along with original hardcase
