One of the most playable examples of these old MIJ guitars I've had my hands on. Low action all the way up the fretboard. Neck is straight (not 100% perfect, but really good for its age), frets are excellent, electronics are clean. New D'Addario 10s. Plenty of expected cosmetic wear throughout. Dings and scratches. Nothing major. It's missing the trem arm and spring. I see a replacement on Amazonf for $8 under "Bstinay Chrome Plated Tremolo Arm " . Not sure if the V / T knobs are replacement. ... more

The real deal! This is a Pearl White Mark I model from 1965 and was made famous by The Ventures!
I've played Hallmarks and other modern equivalents, and nothing sounds quite like a vintage Mosrite. They have a snarl, growl and kerrang that just can't be matched. Semie Moseley carved out his own sound among the Fender and Gibson tones of the day. Of course the clean tones are awesome for surf, Bakersfield or roots sounds, but man does this thing love some gain!
