Good to very good condition. Body certainly has wear and blemishes for being over 60 years old. It was just professionally tuned and cleaned up, neck adjusted, bridge adjusted, pots cleaned and electronics serviced, new end pin. It has all original parts as far as I know. The action is somewhat high, but plays incredibly well. The electronics sound great, but the volume (lower knob) has some static up to about 70% and the static goes away. Kay k442, made in 1976. I got this guitar at auction with a bit of work needing doing, it??s had new strings, new tuning keys, new string pins at the bridge. There is no truss rod adjustment on these. I went for it as it is a show stopper with the double pick guard. This one works fine! It plays and it sounds good. New strings fitted and it??s had Wilkinson tuners put on at some point too.

I bought this last year for a restoration project that never happened. The guitar will ship from Belfast disassembled but contains all the original parts bar the strings. The bass is lightweight and has a fast, slim neck. I'd recommend a nut replacement and a better bridge to really bring this puppy to life.... more
