    The Standard.

    What can I say, it's a Fender American Standard. When you hear a bassline on a song, it's most likely from an American Standard P bass. Other basses may fit better in niches but there is no better bass across the board. If I do have a complaint, it's the boring white on black color scheme. But replacement pickguards are available on eBay so that should be remedied shortly.

    make sure you check this stuff out. I had to have female jack replaced. after fixing it it sounds good. i was little upset about its condition on that part because it looked as though it had gotten wet at some point. New strings I am happy with it now. price should have been about 200 dollars less for its condition.

    Very nice modification to the 5 String Standard PBASS.

    Excellent modification. Very quiet electronics and works very well. FENDER needs to add a J pickup in the bridge position of the 5 string P BASS. Very pleased with this bass!

    P-Bass; the bass is a must have for any serious bass guitarist!

    Great bass, classic tone, good quality guitar. If you only can afford one bass guitar, the P-Bass is the one bass to have. Very versatile, great tonal quality, and great craftsmanship. I highly recommend the Fender American Standard P-Bass.

    Great tone and playability

    The American made Fender P bass just has “that” tone.r The same tone you have heard on studio sessions for decades. I recently picked up a 2016 Standard. It plays like a dream. Big on the low end and very clear all around. Once these basses are set up to be played with your style, they become the go to bass...Ol’ Faithful.
