Seller Notes: “Brand New-I build these pickups by hand starting with using a hand Arbor Press installing the ... “Brand New-I build these pickups by hand starting with using a hand Arbor Press installing the magnets into the flatware. Then I lacquer dip the finished Flatware before winding. This protects the coil wire from shorting out on the magnets, this is where 90% of Fender pickups fail. Then I hand wind the pickups to the correct Vintage specs. I then wax the finished pickup in a 80/20 wax mixture. 80% paraffin and 20% beeswax @ 140-150 degrees. Recheck all specs using a LCR meter @ 1k - Checking the k-Ohms- Henries-nf cap-rp. I build my pickups the old school way just like how Leo Fender started out with the release of the 1954 Stratocaster. I do not charge the magnets until the pickups are sold or installed on a pickguard. I use USA Remington wire and use the top USA suppliers for all of my parts. I wind my pickups in a controlled temperature room in my recording studio. All pickups were Beta tested for at least 6 months before going to the market for sale.”
