This is a vintage 1970??s Hondo LP J It is from the late 1970??s Korea. I believe and has the ??open book?? lawsuit headstock. The gold finish on top is discolored, as you can see in the photos. It??s still a very nice-looking guitar. The guitar body is thin, and the guitar is light, unlike other LP style guitars. The pickups and electronics work. The actual model name bears the sonorous name "HDDCS " , but this example is better known as the Hondo Genesis. The model was only built from 1972 - 1980, by Samick, in Korea and belonged to the upper press segment due to the more elaborate construction.
