Very cool and extremely rare model from Hofner. Rare acoustic archtop with sharp cutaway. It plays easy and sounds very good! It's in excellent condition. Not mint, but very clean overall. Just the lightest traces of use but is a great example and is complete with hard case etc

This vintage Hofner President archtop guitar is being sold for a friend whose husband owned it before he passed.
Crafted in 1958, it still rings nicely, especially with the Hofner compensator holding the ball end of the strings. Please look carefully at the pictures as the D string strip is slightly bent - but has little impact on tone.

Very minor scratching and dings are highlighted on the pictures, otherwise a good, honest vintage guitar.

Being a 68 years old Blonde it is in remarkably good condition. Serial No 3666, this is the rotary switch panel version which is quite rare .The only non-original part is the metal bridge which I assume was fitted with Bigsby. Comes with original ?hard?? case.
