Fantastic bass here ! This was found in an estate last year . We had the whole thing gone over professionally. Neck reset, rewired, pickups are original and rewound. The finish was removed off the top a long time ago . as you see we did not touch that . Use as is or redo your choice. The back has great tiger grain once again someone started stripping it this is just the way we found it. Plug in and play . Also come in original case that is very beat up . Not a re-issue!! I purchased this guitar from a seller onReverb. He purchased a number of 1960??s Hofners Club 40 guitars in the late1970??s and had them ever since. Got the year 1962 on this one from the Hofnersite. It could possibly be a 1963 however I do not think they were continuedinto ?63. 1963 Hofner Club 60 blonde guitar with original hard shell case. (dating is based on volume and tone pot mfg numbers)
