The guitar has been professionally set up; includes refret, neck adjustment with leveling for intonation (since the neck is non-adjustable), pinned bridge, and glow in the dark fret markets added to side of the neck.

1955 Harmony H42 Stratotone Newport Vintage Electric Guitar with a yellow refinish. It has a very chunky neck and is a blast to play. It weighs just 4 56 pounds. It has a 25" scale length and a 1 72" nut width. The neck thickness measures 0 945" at the 1st fret and 1 220" at the 12th fret

Very nice and fully restored 1961 Harmony Stratotone ??Jupiter??, the top of the line for the series. A while ago I acquired a husk with some parts and set to work hunting down the rest. Body / neck (excellent condition!), tuners, tailpiece, ALL five knobs, and the long pickguard are original. Bridge and Dearmond goldfoils are vintage and correct. I fabricated the pickup surrounds from solid tortoise plastic. They are 1-mm thick instead of 1 5 but are otherwise an excellent match. I finally ... more

HARMONY Stratotone "Mars" ChiTown Blusey Sound All Original some Normal wear and tear for 65+ year old guitar and a crack lower bout by jack that is all character. Manufactured by Harmony in the USA and very similar to their "H49 Stratotone, " this Silvertone model 1423 has a Black Sparkle finish that was exclusive to the Silvertone-branded version of this guitar, available via Sears.
