This is a beautiful Gretsch Tennessean from 1964 I believe and NOT a reissue. Everything looks to be original including the case. This guitar plays like butter and has that sweet jangly tone of a vintage gretsch and that nasty rock-a-billy kick. She screams with the best. The neck is on the thicker side (but not chunky) and just feels like home in your hands. This is a vintage chrome plated Gretsch Rocker bridge from circa 1964. Original base is included. Since this is early 60's it's the fatter top from that era. Curiously, one of the screw / posts and thumbwheels has gold on it. I don't know if it's gold plate or gold paint. Please see pics Sales tax will be added by Ebay. This magnificent beauty is a 1963 Gretsch Tennessean Chet Atkins 6119 guitar that has seen plenty of action in it's time. Only 3 previous owners. This is as old as the hills and has been played at hundreds of concerts by the original owner, so expect some battle scars. But this is what you would expect from a 62 year old guitar.
