The guitar appears to be original, except for the pickup covers. The original ones would have had Greco stamped into them
The electronics under the rear cover do not appear to have ever been altered
The chrome hardware is in decent condition with some wear. The Greco stamped tuners have keystone knobs and are in great shape

Awesome guitar from 1978. Greco LP custom. I'm not sure of the model number this is the closest thing to a gibson that you could get. Has some hot P-90's in it. It plays and sounds amazing. Curiously enough the switch is only wired one pickup or the other at a time I'm not sure if it was done intentionally or needs a switch. lol. Works great but has lots of cosmetic wear. Neck is straight, truss turns, action is low, frets look great, electronics are clean. Truss cover is non-original and only has one screw since the holes don't line up. There's lots of wear and discoloration in the paint. Dings and scratches throughout. Worst offenders pictured. You're looking at a good Greco Violin Bass Guitar made in Japan  We don't know anything else about this other than we think it's a 60s / 70s era  Everything works properly. The electronics were recently cleaned up (though the switches are still a bit scratchy), a proper setup was performed and a fresh set of flat wounds have been installed

Rare and collectable Japan-made 1978 Greco EG-700WW Les Paul Standard electric guitar in very good condition. This was part of a short-run production (1978-79) replica of Al Di Meola's ivory-coloured Les Paul, as pictured on his "Casino" and "Tour De Force" albums
Mahogany body with maple top, maple neck with ebony fretboard and fret binding. Neck is in straight and solid condition. Pickguard is missing.

For sale is my 1983 Greco EG-59 Mint Collection Les Paul.
I am not sure what model it is but it was sold to me as an 800, I believe that is the case. It is definitely a higher end one as it has a 2 piece back and flame maple veneer. The lower spec ones around this time had 3 piece backs and plain 2 or 3 piece maple tops. It also has fret edge binding. It has a lovely dark rosewood fretboard. 1981 vintage tremolo bridge, mounting screws, block, springs, claw, taken off a 1981 Greco Spacey Sound SE 500 stratocaster electric guitar. String spacing and bridge mounting holes are like American stratocaaster's; 56 5 millimeters. Rust marks and agings, and the threads of the bridge mounting screws have got worn-out so might don't work properly. BTW the saddle springs and saddle screws have been replaced with new ones. Frets are great shape Inlay front on a matt black finish Ornate bridge and engraved hardware Pickups are Dimarzio: Tone Zone and an Air Norton In pretty good condition, there's a couple of dings out of the finish and buckle rash which has broken through the finish. Greco DRY 1982 pickups. Very well made Japanese PAF clones from the 80's - some say the best. These were originally in a 'Mint Collection' Greco Les Paul Custom. I swapped them out for a set of Seymour Duncans as I was playing in a band that required a more modern tone. The guitar is now sold and I currently have no need for this set, although I'll likely regret selling them further down the line.... more

1974 Maxon EB-style pickup. Date code is 24829 (29th August 1974). As used on numerous Japanese basses from the early 1970s. I have had this for years and frankly don't recall precisely which bass it came from. Has some wear as to be expected from a 50+ year old part, but generally in pretty good shape. Reads 9 98K. 1981 vintage Greco Spacey Sound SE 500 guitar pickguard loaded loaded with its own original alnico pickups, 5-ways CRL pickup switch selector, harness, 250k pots, knobs, etc, as shown in pictures. Some scuffs on the pickguard and some rust onto the top of the pickup rods. The tip of the pickup switch selector is held in place by a little piece of adhesive tape because it has got a crack and was too loose.
On my multimeter the pickups measure like this;
