There are some minor cosmetic imperfections along the back of the neck (pictured) but they do not affect the playability or performance of the guitar at all. Here's a great playing 1976 Gibson Marauder electric guitar - dark burgundy in original hard case. I bought this second hand. Here's what I know about it.
Plays great, sounds great, electronics all work fine. There are various nicks, scuffs, dings etc commensurate with a played instrument that's almost 50 years old. I tried to photograph the most notable marks. One of the tuning keys has been replaced with Gibson tuner that was at one time gold in color but the gold finish has faded so it ... more

1975-79 GIBSON MARAUDER - w / Elvis Presley Back, w / original Gibson case + Strap.

This guitar is in good condition. Nothing is missing except the pick-up knob.
It has 6 strings, a black body with a maple neck and it??s serial number is 71638144. it comes with its original case which is filled with red velvet. The leather strap is in the neck of the guitar case
