This example is all original less a pro refret and changed strap buttons. Wiring harness is nice and clean with all pots dating to the 4th week of 1976. Up for sale is a 1985 Gibson Les Paul Custom in its original and vibrant Silverburst finish. One of my absolute favorite finishes for a LP Custom! This particular example has a lot of silver in the finish and has a nice green hue to it. Both pickups are the original Tim Shaw humbuckers and also retain the original PAF pickup ring stickers. The body is made of alder as the rest of the early ones mostly were. Very rare original vintage Gibson hang tag owner's manual from the 1960s - 70s. It has not been filled in so you can put it with your cherished Gibson guitar and nobody will know it didn't come with it
It is also not model specific so it can go in a case with a number of instruments from this period.
Very rare, especially blank like this.

My beautiful 1981 Gibson Les Paul custom serial number: 80691575. This number indicates that it was built on March 10th 1981 in the custom shop in Nashville. The guitar is in excellent shape for its age and has a laser fret test at Chandler's in 2006. Comes with a genuine Gibson hard case. All parts original. It is rare to find a custom that is 44vyears old in such good nick. Neck is straight, electronics are clean

Good condition Gibson Les Paul Custom from 1969. What strikes me first about this guitar is the weight, it's incredibly light! An absolute pleasure to play, with a slim 60s style neck. There has been a neck repair at some point, but it's almost impossible to spot. The guitar itself has had a recent pro level refinish. One pot has been changed, the nylon saddles are modern reproductions, otherwise all original. The sound is incredible and cannot be replicated by modern instruments in my ... more
