Here we a have a Pre-Owned Excellent Condition 1973 VINTAGE GIBSON EB-3 BASS. I Just put it through the Shop to make sure everything is up to snuff. I am very meticulous when it comes to my gear, I baby my stuff. Everything is in perfect working order. I just had it completely set up with brand New FENDER FLATOUND 45-100'S so it plays wonderful. Vintage 1973 Gibson EB-3 Solidbody SG Bass in a killer faux sparkle finish
Bass plays great all the way up and down the neck with a straight neck and good action. No buzz or issues
Origianl pickups sound incredible. The neck pickup is crazy warm and fat sounding while the bridge is brighter and percussive. The two together make for a whole array of different tones
The var-i-tone has been replaced with a simple pickup switch, which to us makes a lot of sense.

The varitone switch has been modified / replaced with a 10-position switch. The original "1 2 3 4" poker chip is missing. The bridge cover is missing, and those holes were filled (likely at the time of refinishing). Pot Code 1377018 indicates CTS (137) and 18th week of 1970. This is an original early 70's Gibson EB-3 Bass husk. The color was originally cherry red, and you can still see cherry on the neck and other areas, but most of the bass has faded to brown. The finish is original. There are nicks, dings, chips, scratches and buckle wear. No cracks. The frets and fingerboard show wear, but nothing out of the ordinary considering the age.
