1960's Gibson Mercury guitar amp head and 4-10 cabinet. It has 2 channels, one with tremolo. Pair of 6L6 RCA output tubes. This set was serviced and restored by myself about 10 years ago and has seen very minimal use since. I do have a copy of the original wiring diagram for the amp. Both amp head and cabinet have been recovered with new brown tolex that was the closest I could find to the original color. 1954 Gibson BR-9, this was the BR-9 that came out before the GA-9 and after the original BR-9 was no longer being made. This BR-9 has the identical circuit as the newer GA-9 with only a couple minor changes. This model also has the original 10?? This is a 3-tube amplifier using 5Y3 rectifier, 6SJ7 preamp, and 6V6 output. I replaced the old filter capacitors with 600 volt electrolytics.
