I recently purchased a small lot of guitars from a woman who closed her pawn shop 20 years ago, now she was ready to sell
This guitar is difficult to identify I cannot find another example online
1. Serial Number 20267-661 ( I think this translates to 1977), this is confirmed by unique tailpiece for this year

Absolutely gorgeous c. 1970 Framus Texan dreadnought. The classic ??so cheesy it??s cool?? German acoustic, in quite rare blonde finish. All laminates, but very nice book-matched flamey back. Rather heavy x-bracing on top. Back is arched. Just honest player wear, and rather light at that. A few scratches and dings here and there, but nothing major. The acoustic at one point was routed for someone to drop a loaded pickguard in it so it could be an electric acoustic
The bridge has been repaired at some point, but as you can see in the pictures, the peg holes will need some routing because some of the pegs can't fit in their place now

Rare single cut model from German brand Framus. This one has been heavily modified - body and headstock refinished in Hampsted Green Metallic automotive paint, with back left transparent. By no means perfect (some grain showing through on the front, and purposely left the back grain porous)

My husband purchased this when he was a military dependent living in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was a college student playing in a German Rock Band. I think he purchased this not long after arriving in Germany, the summer of 1965.

Framus Starbass 5 / 156-62 von 1964, Nummer 15981-63C, vor gut 15 Jahren bei Ebay gekauft. Damals hatte er noch einen DIN Stecker, was nervte, so wurde ein Klinkenstecker eingebaut (siehe Foto). Es funktionieren nicht alle Pick Up Wahlmöglichkeiten und der Bass ist insgesamt auch leiser als andere Bässe. Fetter Hals. Gebrauchsspuren muss man wirklich finden wollen. Die Fretmarker habe ich nachträglich aufgeklebt. Es ist eine fantastisch klingende Gitarre auf höchstem Custom Shop Niveau

Time to declutter, so here??s my Framus Acoustic Amateur 5 / 1 Parlor Guitar in Sunburst, fitted with Ernie Ball Super Slinky Light Gauge Strings. The guitar features an Arched Back and Zero Fret. The model is Circa 60??s / 70??s
The body has several scratches, but they??re in character given its age!
