The serial number is ??40496?? which dates it to late 1959. The neck is date is not readable and the body is dated to December 1959. The pots date to November 1959 (137-945 and 947). So all dateable parts are from 1959 but it probably was not sold until early 1960. It has the original Sunburst finish

This is a well preserved 1975 Fender precision bass guitar that i believe when it was new it was in the color white and now over the years it has conformed to the yellow petina. This is my baby. It??s a 1972 fender precision bass. Everything on this bass is original. I bought this at a guitar show in the late 90s. I??ve gigged with it and recorded with it for more than 25 years. It is extremely hard for me to part with it but I have a hand injury and unfortunately can??t play the bass anymore. This bass has an incredible history. The bass started life as a 1971 Fender Precision bass. A few years later, the Schecter Guitar Research company in Van Nuys, California did an upgrade and added Bartoline pickups, changed to a Bad Ass II bridge, changed to a Schecter chrome plated brass pick guard, and redid the electronics using Bourns high performance potentiometers which was Schecter's trademark. Gorgeous bass. Sounds killer. Straight neck, low action, truss turns, frets are excellent, electronics are clean. New 9V. New D'Addario 45s. Set up by the top guy in Boston. The active EMGs are aftermarket. Looks like there's a very small amount of routing in the control cavity to allow for the 9V. Pickguard and pickguard screws are aftermarket. Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. Sad as I am to see this go, I am lucky enough to have got hold of both a 59 and a 60 which I use more often than this one. It's a truly beautiful bass but has had some work. When I got it, it had a J pickup, an awful refinish and a fretless ebony board. I took it to Angela Arnott (of Guitar Angel) who did a stunning restoration including the nitro Sherwood green refin. For sale is a reasonably rare 1984 Fender USA Elite Precision bass, made at the end of the CBS era, just prior to selling Fender. They were only made for two years in a limited run. It was Fender??s second attempt at an active guitar, including an onboard preamp controlled via the tone knob. It has a compound radius neck, moving from a more traditional C shape toward the headstock, down to a very flat D at the 12th fret for ease of access to the higher positions.

Made in the legendary Fujigen factory , this lovely jazz dates from 1984-85. Stunning Ash body with maple and pearl inlayed neck.
Condition wise I??d say 9 out of 10. It??s basically mint, with only a couple of tiny marks (see a little mark under the A on the logo, that??s it!) and light oxidation of the chrome tuners. It really is in time warp condition!
Looks and sounds incredible, has the 3 Bolt tilting neck joint, a lovely low action and fresh strings. A proper slap machine!

Zum Verkaufkommt ein original Fender Precision Bass Hals von 1971. Ein Mapleneck, der mal neu bundiert und mit einem Messingsattel ausgestattet wurde. Die Bundierarbeiten wurden zwar nicht perfekt ausgeführt aber insgesamt funktioniert es sehr gut. Der Hals ist gerade und die Truss-Rod Mutter lässt sich ohne Probleme drehen. Der Hals hat sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren, siehe Fotos.
