As seen in the video, for sale is a 1959 Fender Precision Bass with a non-original case. This bass guitar has some wear but remains in perfect working order, playing and sounding amazing. This is the coolest thing! I had this installed in my 71 P-Bass back in 1978 as a kid in my first band. It's definitely old-school, analog hard-wired design and the entire preamp is encased in a solid 1 x 1 1 / 8 x 1 1 / 2 epoxy 'brick' marked Startone on the side. For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.

Electrics have just been swapped out for passive EMG Geezer Butler pickups which sound huge. 1977 Fender Precision bass guitar in Olympic White Great example of the classic guitar and this one definitely gives off punky vibes. The neck and body both stamped showing they are all original and a matching pair. In fact the only thing not original to the guitar are the cream Di-Marzio pick ups which are the PAF type and were probably installed shortly after it was first bought. There is also a small toggle switch next to the volume and tone pots that would have been put in at the same time. ... more

This is a great bass, in not so great condition (due to the previous owner). I've tried as best I can to show this in the pictures, and obviously the price reflects the condition. However It plays and sounds great, plus there's plenty of life in the frets and as the name suggests is nice and light too. It's the ideal workhouse for gigging and recording.
