This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

This Ranger XII sunburst was made in the early 1970s. It??s built like a tank: Spruce top, mahogany back & sides, rosewood fretboard, white 3-D logo

Some visible scuffs and cracks but the heavy lacquer job renders the latter superficial. The top two tuner buttons on both sides are not original (see photos).

Action is quite manageable: 1 / 16?? on first fret;... more

This guitar is a really easy playing 12 string. It has a really ugly repair on the back of the headstock but that repair was done a very long time ago and despite it looking rough on the back of the headstock this guitar really does play like a dream and stays in tune great! There are also some finish cracks, but that's all they are. Nothing that goes past just the finish- these guitars ALL have some finish cracks. This is a late 60's Ranger 12 with the white sci-fi 'bubble' logo and scroll label, serial number approximates the guitar to 1968
This is one of the best pieces around with no lacquer cracks or usual issues seen with 99% of these
At nearly 60 its a great piece!
Nice low action and ships with a good quality slightly later premium case with alloy trim

This is an excellent example of a classic 1960s guitar. It is in very good condition with a small area of damage on the bottom and a few minor dings on the edges. The strike plate has the cowboy on it and ??Eko Ranger 6??. This seems to be rare as regular playing led to replacement . There is some wear and tear and minor scratching consistent with it being 60 years old. The photo should demonstrate this and is sold as seen.

This stager sports the unusual and rather tasty looking birdseye maple back and sides, contrasted with the gloss black neck, looks amazing!

Here we have a great condition 1969 eko ranger acoustic guitar
You just don't get guitars like these any more as the trees used to make them are not allowed to be cut down
Only with guitars made of the correct woods and aged and seasoned can you get that wonderful tone
This one in particular is in excellent condition for the age of 55 years, it does have a crack across the bridge (shown in photo) which has not moved or changed in the 18 years that I've owned it

Absolute stunner of a guitar I have for you here. I am selling my 12 String Electric Acoustic EKO model 12 guitar made in Italy. This is a nice example for its age the body is good no damage apart from light scratches, all the winders are good nothing missing, The back of the neck has some light Hair lines marks in the varnish there does not seem the effect the neck, but may need some attention

I bought it with a headstock repair where it has been dropped so please look in the pictures to see all the damage cased by this, there is a crack in the body right next to where the neck mounts, a crack right at the headstock and also 2 very small ones on the body right next to the neck. Excellent condition. Selling on behalf of my Dad who barely played it. Been stored in a cupboard for 40+ years and only taken out of case a few times to mess about on when I was young. Apart from strings perhaps I'd say it would never have had anything replaced so would be all original parts

Here is my Eko Ranger 12 String. The label doesn't mention the year, though these guitars mostly seem to be from 1960's / 1970's - it doesn't have a scratch plate and the label says it's Italian made, so maybe that gives some clue?

A vintage EKO Ranger 12 string guitar; looks to be a 1970s version but no exact date present
The overall construction of the guitar is in solid condition but it does require TLC. There are cracks to the lacquer at the headstock and more significant areas of damage around the edges of the body.
