Vintage Egmond Parlor Acoustic Guitar rare and certainly one for any collectors stable the guitar looks almost new .only indication of it's age is the fretboard wear .and some wear on the string trapeeze other than that flawless and everything on the guitar is original. During the 50's, Egmond was the largest maker of guitars in Europe and so very popular. They were located in Holland. Company was founded in 1932. 1960s Egmond Parlor Guitar Sunburst For Repair This guitar is in need of repair and restoration. The neck angle is set back far so that the strings are laying flat on the fingerboard but the neck is actually a bolt on neck so no need to worry about neck resets. There is a screw under the last inlay to screw down the fingerboard extension over the body and a bolt on the back of the heel to attach the neck to the body. The guitar is in good overall condition for its age, 2 of the tuning pegs have snapped off so I welded 2 washers to them so I could still tune it. Also neck has moved with age so I wedged a guitar pick in to counter the movement. Definitely showing its age but is a great looking guitar still and sounds great.
