This Besson Aristone is a rare guitar made circa 1950??s it is in excellent condition for its age and is a really nice guitar to play. It has a great tone and is ideal for all levels of player. The guitar case it will come with is an excellent condition hard case from gear4music which is currently retailing at £59 99. Despite their age differences the guitar and case fit hand in glove together. Guitar case is lockable and comes with keys.

Here is a Besson ?Aristone?? archtop I bought a couple of years ago, made by Framus guitars in the late 50s, this guitar could either date back to 1957 or 1958, maybe someone out there can tell me from the serial number.

Nice woody tone and strung with flat wounds for that jazzy sound, I must warn you the action isn??t exactly comfortable which you can see demonstrated in some of the pictures but I??ve never had it set up so I think theres room for manoeuvre there

Very rare The Aristone Besson guitar.
It has been repaired from some modifications a previous owner made. The holes (clearly shown in the pictures) were repaired using more spruce wood. This at least helped me learn this guitar was made with solid woods and carved solid spruce top. The back is solid, with a flamed veneer.
It was all refinished with blonde shellac. It looks great, and has an astonishing flamed back.
It plays great at low action. Sounds amazing, really good resonance.... more
