This amplifier doesn't shut off with switch and it has a hum or statis when on with speaker but sounds strong when playing. It's possible I don't have something set right and it's also possible that it needs some work

Vintage Acoustic Bass Amp from the 70's. Tested & working fine. One of the plastic feet on the right side is modified. The feet on the bottom were rearranged to fit my speaker cabinet. Tolex is is nicked in a few places and all the metal corners are rusted. There is some beige paint on the top of the EQ section, I tried removing it years ago with no success. This is the upgraded model with the beautiful solid wood cabinet.
Powers up on Standby mode but blows a fuse when switched to On. There is no speaker. Comes with the original reverb tank and old tubes; four 6V6??s, three 12AX7??s and one 12AT7.
