Vintage guitars for sale: Wichita

These were made by gibson kalamazoo from 1959-68 and after 1963 were special order only - this is the only one made in 1968, and also the last one made. The guitar is a very dark brown(almost black) and I believe the only one produced in this colorway - guitar has a lot of finish checking and wear from being played, and time. I believe 100% original sans one tone knob that has been replaced.

Vintage 1962 Gibson Melody Maker Sunburst w / Original Case. Serial # is 95942, based on this information and our knowledge this is a 1962 model. This is very rare 1994 Fender Foto Flame Jazzmaster in really wonderful condition. It has been played very little, frets are excellent as is the neck. Electronics work perfectly and sound incredible. For sale is this very cool 60s Guyatone double lapsteel. This came from the estate of a country western bluegrass musician here in SWKS. Ive done my best to describe it below! Please read carefully!

Tele-Star 3 / 4 size parlor guitar with redburst finish. Made in Japan by Kawai
23" scale, all-mahogany (probably ply). Floating bridge with bail-style tailpeice. Didn't need the full "Nelsonized" rebuild. This guy only needed a cleanup and minor touchups on finish issues. Nice tight neck joint. The nut and saddle were shot, so we replaced them, including a compensated bone saddle We did the full pro setup: filed the nut, lubricated the tuners, seriously shaved the bridge to lower the action... more

There was a ukulele craze in the 1920s, so instrument companies made millions of them. But ukuleles aren't very loud, especially if you want to play along with trumpets, saxes and drums! So makers adapted banjo-style bodies, which let them keep up with the rest of the band. Kay made banjo ukes in the 1920s and stopped. After that, they only made this model K-5 for one year, in 1957! Killer 70s Sears solid state amp. Seems to be working. Tested and there is some crackling from the pots, but channels and effects were working. Please understand that when / if this is shipped it has a chance to be damaged. THis is delicate and I believe the reverb could be damaged. Id recommend doing some wiring repairs in general. But its a nice amp for sure.
