I am not an expert but from an article I read I believe this is a 'Guitar a la Sagrini', based on the fat body, the 59cm string length (to accomodate normal tunings with fatter strings or terz tunings), which apparently places this at approximately 1830-1840

Glossy walnut (poly, of course) finish on this late ?70s 4-bolt electric bass. The knobs, neck plate, and pickups are more modern (00s-20s) replacements (pickups are Fender USA ?70s Jazz style appropriate for this instrument). Body, neck, tuning machines, I assume, and pick guard are all original.

This banjo is very well preserved in its own case. The case has some peeling back of the purple felt inside but has done its job. The banjo itself is stiff and no rattling parts - it has the neck firmly attached and the brace on the center portion has good hardware
